Max roared furiously as his wolf surged forward. The combination of Max and Cyrus in Max’s human form was lethal - his strength and speed doubled, and his aura was more menacing.

He lunged toward the invisible force, grappling with it for a while, slowly crushing its resistance as he landed a punch.

I heard the cracking of bones echo in the cell; it seemed that he beat that man successfully.

“Were you the one who tried to kill Arra in the hospital?” Max growled menacingly.

“I disdain to kill a she-wolf myself,” Dagon replied contemptuously, and suddenly, the invisible force that had been grappling with Max turned into a visible man, and he was flung around by another invisible force, which Max and I assumed was Dagon.

“This man,” Dagon’s disgusted voice sounded as the newly visible man suddenly moved and hung in the air like a puppet, unable to do anything.
