Chapter 249: Monke Skirmish (4)

"Xek, we've got incoming!"

The green ogre quickly blocked an incoming arrow with the head of his staff and knocked it to the ground.

"An ambush?" Xek grinned as he thumped the butt of his staff to the ground. "Typical low-ranking savage behavior."

I heard a hiss coming from behind and swung my hand behind. I felt something colliding with the back of my hand and saw the creature that tried to stab me in the back get launched into the air and crash into a nearby building.

Smirking, I saw what looked like a smaller version of the savage beastmen that were shown in the broadcast.

It had brown skin, antlers on its head (broken because of my backhand), a snout, and tribal tattoos littered across its body.

The body fell to the ground after crawling its way out of the indention in the wall and snarled at me.
