No deadly confrontation whatsoever happened unlike in her previous examination, yet Zhang Mei Xing still felt like she had just come out of a very torturous mission. Fatigue washed over her soul. She felt drained. That was how she would describe her current self.

She never knew it was actually very tiring to assume somebody else's identity. It greatly differed from acting in a drama. In a filming set, it was okay to make a mistake or two since everyone else there was also merely acting. The director who was the only one who could judge the performance would only encourage the actors to further their acting. But in real life, one would always have to be vigilant. One would always have to observe her actions in order to not rat out to those who knew the 'original' that she was a fake.
