miyuki - sigh .. it's really boring nowadays since the summer tournament ended.. isn't it shirasu ? ( bored )
shirasu - you can say these words because you are not studying desperately like others for college exams . sigh .. dont say that in front of kuramochi and others, they will beat up otherwise ..
Ken- well , we almost everyday just spent our time for baseball so the withdrawal symptoms are really great too . shirasu , what happened to the talk about your overseas university?
shirasu - well its final now . I'm going to Britain for at least 4 years for further studies .
miyuki - you always wanted to be a businessman so you must be happy now shirasu .. I think you passed the test to study business course there..
shirasu - yes , well study is nothing compared to focus required when playing high school baseball so it was easy ( reminiscing) .
Ken- baka .. they are 2 different things. sigh forget it . ( speechless) well if it works for you then it's okay I guess ..
miyuki - that's right . so did any scout came for you Ken? I'm really troubled as 5 different pro teams just dont leave me alone . sigh I just want to study further .. maybe I will think about going pro afterwords ..
Ken- well your thinking is right miyuki . it's because pro baseball players time is unstable . most of them retire after 15 years and maybe just after a while due to injury . it's good to at least have a good university degree for future jobs . but I had thought that you would take over your family's factory from your father though ..
shirasu - me too ..
miyuki - yes , I told dad the same thing but he told me to not even think about it right now . so I'm will with university exams from now on huh.. sigh I really miss the carefree days when I just thought of baseball everyday ..
Ken- well now it's no use saying that though . I also have recieved some offers but haven't decided which team yet..
shirasu - well everybody just want to watch you play in pro baseball league.
miyuki - it's your fault Ken . you just had to score a total of 27 home runs in 11 games during summer tournament . hahaha.. I'm still wondering how did you do that.
shirasu - well to be honest we all are thinking the same thing . but Ken always just says 'it's a trade secret ' and runs off ..( smile )
Ken- ( well I cant tell that its wish I asked from God now cant I? ) it's really a trade secret so quit asking then .. oh yea, I don't know much about Japan pro baseball league system so please enlistment me former seido high school baseball captain ..hehehe. ..
miyuki - like I say always dont use that former word . it annoys me somehow ...
Ken- that's why I use it you idiiot .. isn't that so shirasu ..
shirasu - nod nod .. well it's fun to annoy you who always try to annoy us all the time ..
miyuki - sigh you guys are really cheap . forger it . so pro baseball system huh ... it's simple really.. there are 12 major league teams in Japan . every team plays 150 games a season which starts from April and ends in October or November. top 2 teams who have won the most games the play 5 games tournament and first one to win 3 games wins . this is Japan championship league .
Ken- ( huh .. it's really simple compared to earth.. it's a good thing though .. ) is that so . then I have decided to choose the team which is willing to spend most money on me then . let's see I've got 6 offers so the team that wants me the most will soon announce the annual salary and draft contract they are willing to pay me ..
miyuki - as always it's just money for you huh ..
shirasu - nod nod..
Ken- well I'm an orphan so of course i have to think about my life . besides pro is just money as I will be just like a salaryman that have to produce constant results to keep their jobs . past achievements are like shit to the sponsors .. sigh .. they really know how to put pressure on me ..
miyuki - now that I think about it you're right.. theses things aside so tomorrow is graduation day for the ones that want early graduation . what have you guys decided ? I'm in though..
shirasu - I'm in too because overseas the semester starts earlier ..
Ken- well I will do that too as I've to do Many things. first is to find a place to live as we cant stay in the dorms now and I've got no home..
miyuki - yes.. you were from an orphanage right Ken.. hmm.. its February now so there is some time before your draft contract amount is announced . at most till the end of February. do you need some money for renting a room ? I can lend some ...
shirasu - well I can do that too.
Ken- well I'm just happy with your feelings only . miyuki you need money for university besides your family is not rich either . shirasu you also need it for overseas shift. besides dont worry , I've got some savings left . it will be enough for at least a month.
miyuki - okay then .
shirasu -- okay . well we won't have time from tomorrow onwards so you guys want to visit the training facilities now with me ?
Ken- okay.
( after a while practice grounds)
shirasu - this new team looks good .
miyuki - yes , well kanemaru is doing a good job as captain . their teamwork is good too .
Ken- yes , well now they have to work hard because the crowd is shamelessly expecting national championship again from them . that principal is just pure greedy and shameless when it comes to fame ..
shirasu - yes , I remember the decision to fire coach just because the team last year couldn't reach koshien ..
miyuki - well that was the decision of coach. anyway that principal allowed it once and shamelessly canceled it once we went to spring koshien tournament. you are right , he is pure shameless ..
Ken- well I won't become like that though
shirasu - me too ..
kanemaru - senpai , just come inside. these guys will be happy to ask some advice..
Ken- no no . let them do things at their own pace . we will just break it now . kanemaru you've got coach for that job ( smile) so rely on him . it's your job so if you feel anything wrong just discuss it with coach ...
kanemaru- yes Ken senpai ( respect )
miyuki - well we will not be here from tomorrow so just wanted to see you guys once .. see ya..
shirasu - just remember that teamwork is good but individual practice is important too . bye ...
Ken- bye kanemaru. just keep a tight leash on furuya and sawamura so that they dont do anything stupid and get injured. see you again sometime.....
