Chapter 248: Out of Balance

Prince Qui had to admit that he had been too closed-minded with the things that Tianshi Xue suggested. Usually, it was just something stupid or crazy or both and he chose not to put the benefit of doubt in her. However, this particular 'pillow talk' was actually working.

But it did not work that as he lay awake, Tianshi Xue still curled on his side. It would have ran perfectly fine if his mind was not crowded with the things that he never thought of.

He already knew what he was going to do and yet he was still trying to come up with reasons that he could convince himself that it was not the only option. If he stopped going outside of the walls, who else was going to bring help to the people outside? Was there someone else that they could send out there, in full trust?
