Chapter 213: A Brave Soldier (Prince Qui past, CAN SKIP)

When Prince Qui was seven years old, he had been an official trainee in the military grounds. As expected, he was so excited with everything. Basic martial arts were taught and in the afternoons, extensive lessons started.

On his first day, he chose a sword, but the general pulled it out of his grasp and replaced it with an arrow and a bow. "This is what you should learn."

Prince Qui's head tilted to the side. The other kids his age were out there swinging wooden swords at each other. He looked up the general but the general did not say anything.

Maybe he had to learn the bow first. So he gave in to that. Every afternoon, he was aiming for the red spot on the target. It took a lot of work and his arm muscles and fingers always ached at the end of the day. He knew he had to get stronger because he would be wielding a bigger version of the bow when the time comes.
