"Will, where is Thor?" Wendy asked. "I haven't seen him for a few days. Is he alright?"
After classes, Wendy visited William and inquired about Thor's whereabouts. It had been three days since she last saw the puppy and she was feeling anxious.
"He's safe," William replied. "He's just undergoing a growth phase, and now is a crucial time. In order to prevent anyone from disturbing him, I decided to put him in a safe place along with Dia and Ragnar."
"I see…" Wendy was disappointed because she had really gotten close to Thor. The puppy would accompany her everywhere to the point that they even bathed together.
Seeing her disappointment, William couldn't help but smile in his heart. Wendy was a straightforward person and her expression told him just how important Thor was in her life.
"Don't worry, as soon as he finishes his Growth Phase, I will immediately bring him to you."
"Really?"
"Yes." William nodded. "I promise."
Okay guys, let's have a heart to heart talk for a bit.
Frankly, I don't know if I should laugh or cry about the feedback I'm getting from William's FIRST True Antagonist.
When I wrote Carter, I was thinking that people wouldn't hate him enough. But, Lo and Behold, it didn't need that much build up to make you guys hate him to the point that you want him to be killed ASAP.
Honestly, I'm a bit worried about the people in this world that are named "Carter". Because of this novel, you might automatically dislike them when you meet them IRL.
Now, jokes aside, let's continue this minor author's rant of mine.
I'm sure that you guys already noticed this, but I'm not your regular author who likes to write Trope and Cliches. Granted, there are still tropes and cliches in my story. But ,I do my best to transform the majority of them in ways that makes it different from the rest of the stories that you have read, or is currently reading.
I want my novel to be different. Different to the point that I branched away from the Overpowered MC's that kills their enemies with a flick of their hand just because they simply looked at them.
While my writing skills may not be the best, I am still doing my "Very Best" to write a compelling story that will make all of you feel many kinds of emotions.
Do you know? After Carter's Arc, I prepared an Epic Kingdom War Arc that will put "Lord of the Rings" and "Avengers End Game" to shame.
I'm ahead in writing by over a hundred chapters, and is now writing the Third Volume of this novel.
Frankly, I scratch my head every now and then because I feel like "you guys" and I have a "Love Hate Relationship". You love and hate me at the same, and I guess, this is just one of the experiences that I had to get used to by being an author.
Lastly, I just want to say that more epic adventures await after Carter's Arc ends. One Final Arc before William travels to the Central Continent.
An Arc where the rulers of "Great Empires" will get a culture shock on just what our "Heroic Shepherd" can do with all of his powers unsealed.
Join me in that journey, and don't let yourselves be intimidated, by a puny, litle, lusty demon, who gives out candies to children.
See you all in the next chapters.
