Chapter 208: Teams of Four

There were murmurs below, everyone was confused. The glades were already their home, so they didn't understand what their King meant.

"It was my fault for being ambiguous. Excuse me. From today onwards you will be living outside the walls of Arkadia, right in the heart of the glades, where Sins run rampant." He made it clearer.

They looked at him as though he would assure them that he was joking or that he would be personally overseeing the abrupt trip but something even worse came for them.

"You aren't to return until you've reached the peak of Novi, do you understand?" The seriousness of his tone made everyone stiff.

"Yes Great Monarch!" They said in unison, sounding like they had practised this for quite some time.

"It's survival of the fittest, you won't be given money or food. You'll have to scavenge everything by yourself. The only things I can give you on the go are seasonings"

"You're gracious Great Monarch!" They chorused.
