Elven Soldier: [Chieftain. We received the message from our spies in the nearby cities. There were no signs of suspicious persons nor of Wendel's group. We've been searching for a week now!]

Kneeling before her, a soldier had reported back to Aerin who had created a small settlement outside the forest, befitting of their nature as the Plains Elves.

Aerin: [Impossible! They should have left some kind of trail at least! We already had elves guarding every road, they can't go outside the continent at this rate.]

She slammed the bottom end of her staff to the ground, expressing her visible frustration over Wendel.
