Chapter 47: Demon Lord Subjugation

17 years ago, on the day the Demon Lord was finally struck down, there were only five heroes that had managed to come back alive.

A parade was made in celebration of their victory, met with the admiration of the townsfolk.

Loud cheers and chanting rained down upon the heroes, and with big smiles and waves, they responded. They were the heroes that had saved the world, however...

There was only one man who knew about their true colors.

It was two weeks before the celebration, the Heroes advanced with their army to strike the Demon Lord's castle found at the top center of the Jarius Lake. Old Man Jay was one of the adventurers that had fought with them.

The fight ensued as soon as they reached shallow waters, charging in against fiery projectiles and proficient Earth Users of the Demon Race, a chaotic battlefield at the shore of the lake.

Jay's real name was Jason, and his party was a part of the Demon Lord Subjugation quest that all countries had united to mobilize.
