Behind the mansion, there was a clearing that had enough space for about

"Are you ready?"

I asked as I faced Marcus who drew his blade.

We both had our blades were drawn, wary of each other's first move.

Marcus, my servant was someone whose swordsmanship was somehow polished without years of training.

I could tell even from the back seat of the Imposter who hired him at first, promising him a place to stay.

"I am ready whenever you are, my liege!"

His crimson eyes glinted with excitement, he was eager to do the first move.

However, I was the same. I was excited to test out this power I can use!

"Demon Sword Style: Blood Slash!"

Marcus initiated the first strike with a vertical slash embellished with fiery blood around, yet I paced along with him as we both close our distances from each other.
