A few moments after, leaving the Library, Franklin had only advised Grantt Maximilian and his companion to leave soon and go back to their city, aware of the incoming threat of an attack.

[Maya]: "——. Why didn't you escort him to His Highness?"

[Franklin]: "I only did what was for the best."

[Maya]: "For someone intensely loyal to the Royal family, you sure did."

Maya slipped in a bit of a satirical compliment that went through Franklin's ear, only confidently walking towards the King's office.

Supposedly, Maya was to escort Grantt and Marcus out of the city, yet it was Grantt Maximilian's suggestion to refuse such service.

"We'll look around for a bit and then we'll leave soon. You don't have to go all the way for us."

It was Grantt's words, although it was Belial who was in control, that had said that to allow the two of them to roam much freely, however wary of any followers Maya might have sent to escort them.
