Chapter 87: A Failure

At the garrison of the Khan's forces located above Hellsburg on the map, Abbadon and Nolan stood before the figure of Ilias who led the army.

Seated on his throne brought along for him to be comfortable at all times. However, his brows had burrowed down, an angry and disappointed look.

Ilias: [You did what?]

Nolan was kneeling on one knee while Abbadon stood with his arms crossed, unwilling to kneel in front of Ilias.

A knife came flying right at the ground, sticking into it a meter away from Nolan's head.

Ilias was not amused by the news he received.

Ilias: [Not only did you fail in coming back with the Lord, but you also failed to destroy the city that was supposed to be weak?]

Nolan: [Opposite to our intel, Hellsburg is a large city with an army prepared to fight, not only that, there are many figures capable of fending us back.]

Abbadon: [Put simply, we were just outnumbered. They would be easy to kill, if only not for their numbers.]
