Chapter 46: Cassandra's Gift
The next morning, Viel and Cassandra lay in bed. Cassandra's naked body embraced Viel's side, and he could feel her breasts pressing against his arm.
"I thought I was gonna die." Cassandra said.
"Are you kidding me?" Viel said. "You are a Pseudo-Saint. I am the one who almost died after you made my blood flow to my dick when it couldn't go anymore."
"Hehe." Cassandra laughed.
After a few hours in which they only hugged and kissed each other, they got out of bed and cleaned themselves.

They were having breakfast when Cassandra asked Viel about his new Blood Tattoo.
He showed it to her and told her about the events that occurred while he was making it.
Viel summoned his Soul Book and checked the details of his Shadow Dragon Blood Tattoo.

Viel was happy about his gains when Cassandra spoke to him.
"Viel, I have something for you."
"Is it like your last "surprise"?" Viel said.
"No, no. This is different." Cassandra said, understanding what Viel meant. "I have a present for you."
When Cassandra said that, she used her nail as a knife and cut her palm, from it blood started to fall and take form. When it ended, a thick book covered in red leather that reeked of blood appeared.
"This is the legacy of my Bloodrose Clan. The skill Blood Origin." She said.
"Are you sure you can give me this? It seems like something you can't share with a stranger. Won't your family get angry if you share this with me?"
"It won't be a problem, I am the last live member of my clan." Cassandra said while you could see the sadness in her eyes. "Also, you have Crimson Canvas' Legacy, so you could be considered the inheritor of my Grandpa, the creator of this skill."
"I'm sorry my darling. I didn't know about it." Viel said as he hugged Cassandra.
"Don't worry. You didn't know about it, so how would you know what to say and what not."
She gave the book to Viel.
"Blood Origin allows you to use the essence of the True Blood of any being. The True Blood is a lot more powerful than normal blood."
When she said it, she signalled Viel to follow her. When they were out of her residence, two Relentless Dirt Devourers appeared ready to attack them.
Cassandra stopped the movement of the two controlling their blood and started explaining to Viel the use of Blood Origin.
"This is a Blood Spear created with Hemomancy using normal blood."
She squeezed out all the blood of the Relentless Dirt Devourer and created a Blood Spear which she launched, which caused a small explosion that only created a thin dust cloud.
"And this is a True Blood Spear created with Blood origin using the True Blood of the Relentless Dirt Devourer."
The Relentless Dirt Devourer started to compress as it turned into a small mass of blood, which she turned it into a spear several times smaller than the one before. She launched it, and when it reached the ground, it caused an explosion ten times stronger than before. It even created a thich mushroom cloud of dust.
Viel's mouth dropped open. Such a difference just by using a different skill.
"Also, the Blood Origin skill is a skill that gets stronger every time it is inherited as it carries the experience and a tiny fragment of the True Blood of its previous users."
They returned to Cassandra's house where she handed Viel the red leather book.
"You just need to let a single drop of your blood fall on the book to learn the skill." Cassandra explained.
When he did it, a window appeared in front of him.

As soon as Viel answered, the skill book opened by itself. Blood surged from the book, from which Viel could feel some sort of connection, and formed a new sheet.

"I'm not "going to provide you", we will have a lot of children to love and take care of." Viel said as he kissed Cassandra while he hugged her from behind.
Both of them stayed like that for some time, until she separated from him and touched his face.
"Viel, I know you want to stay here with me for more time. And I will also love that, but you need to return to Elysium to become stronger." She said.
"I already know it. It's just that I don't like the idea of not seeing you again for a long time."
"Promise me that you will become stronger." Cassandra said. "If you win Iris' hand in marriage, only then we will see each other again."
"I promise." Viel said as he kissed Cassandra's hand.
