Chapter 7: I’m getting a system!
Smiling at Catherine and me, Morgan decided to start talking to get things moving on.
"As you have read in your novels and games, you will be given a system. But unlike most of your games, you won't be the only person to have a system in this world. Everyone will be born with a system. A system is a naturally accruing phenomenon that is given to all beings who have mana and come into contact with it, with their bodies. But the planet they are born on, or the parents there born from, must have mana."
"There are some planets that have inhabitants explore space and have their inhabitants give birth while off-planet. But as long as the child's parents are of the said planet that has mana, the child will also gain a system "
"Gaining a system is the first step of godhood. Now that doesn't mean you will become a god, not by any means. Quiet the opposite. It grants the user the ability to easily and quickly grow stronger through a connection with the universe. As like your video games, it gets harder to get stronger and stronger, so very few reach a level to claim strength to blow up a planet, let alone become a god" finished Morgan
At this point, I was already hooked on reincarnation. Am I sad I died? Yes. Am I sad I won't see my family again? Yes. Am I sad my fat cat is probably having an easier life than me? Most definitely not. But a system, I can barely think straight about all the possibilities of having one.
"Quick question" I raised my hand quickly while staring at Morgan like she was a teacher and I was back to being in kindergarten.
"Fufu, yes, go ahead and ask my child," she said with a beautiful smile
"When I reincarnate will I keep my memories? Will I reincarnate into a fetus and then be born? A trashy young master? Or suddenly gain my memories after living for a certain period of time? Maybe just start inhabiting a child, teenager, adult, maybe even infant or fetus that died?"
'These were some of the most important questions I have at the moment 'Smiling at me Morgan answered my question with another question
"How do you want to reincarnate? Do you wish to keep your memories? Do you -"
"I wish to be reincarnated as a fetus and then be born while keeping my memories that way I can grow strong from a young age," I said quickly while cutting her off
"Fufu, good, that way the plan the whole time" she replied, not even minding I cut her off.
"Also are there things like bloodlines? Magic? Elves? Also what exactly was that thing you and the other gods put into my soul body?" I asked, completely forgetting I was in the presence of several beings who could probably destroy entire galaxies, maybe even more with a wave of their hand.
"Bloodlines do exist, they will naturally get stronger with age, cultivating them, and lucky encounters. You will gain 1 skill point when leveling up a skill, but depending on your bloodlines, you can gain more" Replied Tristan
"Magic is also dependent on talent, access to information, and drive, your question on magic will have to wait until you are born and able to investigate the situation on your planet" replied Heimdall
"Elves exist on few planets, I don't want to spoil too much, but the planet you will be born on will have a small kingdom of elves. I know due to them worshiping world trees, which worship me as their mother." Catherine stated
"That was a small dimension seed we put into and merged with your soul. It was about the size of a couple of red giant suns, but since your soul is so weak, we had to shrink it a lot. It's about a 10 x 10 x 10 cube. There is no sun or atmosphere, but we put in some more effort and gave it a day-and-night effect and atmosphere and gravity. "
"It will slowly get stronger as you get stronger, and evolve, it will also have its own system-based menu too, which isn't something we created, it is a natural phenomenon from the seed," Sylva said and she finished answering my most immediate questions
"Are there special functions of the system I should know? "I asked. This was one of the last important questions that almost all protagonists forget to ask. That or they get cut off before being able to finish.

"There are 3 tabs that everyone has, no matter what. Some will have more depending on many things, but they will all have 3 at the very least."
"The first is the status window that shows all your information. Second is quests, which can be given by gods or those with superior powers in exchange for divine coins. And last is the shop. The currency for the shop is divine coins."
"Every 10 years everyone is given one divine coin from the universe. A currency that is given to every being and put into their soul for storage. The only way to take it out is to die or give it to someone else, trade it, or use them to buy in the shop. Divine coins are small packs of divine energy given to every living being to nurture their soul. Once one has enough divine coins, one can buy items in the shop, which the world naturally will create with its powers, in exchange for your coins. Or we can give you in exchange for your divine coins. Which we turn into divine energy. Also, others can steal from others until they have enough to become a god. Although there isn't a single living in existence that can naturally live long enough to cash in their divine coins to become a god."
"Wait, you said something about stealing divine coins? How is that possible?" I asked, hoping this wasn't gonna go where I thought it was.
"By killing each other and others obviously, I can't tell you how many stupid kings, queens, and even emperors start wars, just to have their subordinates kill and then give the rulers all the divine coins," Sylva said, with obvious disgust covering her face.
"You said give right? So they can give them to their rulers? Why don't the rulers just tax them?" I asked, hoping some of these beings have some sort of common sense.
"Oh they do boy, but only their citizens. Some have very strict rules and registration. Where just missing to give a divine coin even once will warrant immediate imprisonment, followed by torture and sometimes death. "
"But let me ask you what happens when some kid whose ruling parent died and passed all their divine coins to said child, sees how much they have? After being spoiled for years maybe even decades, that child is put into power and thinks they can become a god if they take over the world. What if they get rid of a neighboring country or empire? The answer is quite simple, they wage war. I know it's different from your world but all worlds that have mana have this issue." Finished Sylva
"So I'll have to become strong much quicker than all those around me if I wish to survive, right?" I asked with a bit of fear in my voice
"Correct, but don't worry we will be giving gifts so that you can get stronger much quicker. They won't be cheat skills, at least not like the ones you read about in novels. But they will be better than the ones most are born with" Morgan said as everyone stood up and started to circle me again.
"Oh, can you tell me the skills I'll be born with?" I asked super excited
"Sadly we can't, but don't worry, if you end up having a duplicate skill, the system will evolve it for you"
