Chapter 186: To Give a Devil a Soul

Zell used his speed to move faster than eyes could see and appeared holding the devil's shoulder. He placed a soul within his body in a matter of seconds while the demon screamed in pain. After Zell finished the process, he let go and the devil fell to his knees.

"What did you do?!" The devil yelled. "It is burning me! I am on fire!"

"The pain should stop soon." Zell said. "I am sorry for the discomfort."

The devil fell further down holding himself up with his hands, as he coughed blood. His body started to gray and shrivel. "I can't…" He attempted to say before collapsing entirely. As his body hit the ground it turned to dust and smoke.

Zell looked but did not see the devil's soul return to the cycle, he did not see the soul at all. Whatever happened destroyed the soul in the process.

The scene unfolding before the young demon lord was too much for him and he puked out of reflex. He wiped his mouth. "What in the world did you do?!"
