Chapter 61: Getting some Gadgets at the Grunt Armory (1)

I resumed my long and boring journey through the dull gray corridor of the Grunt facilities, trying to reach the Grunt Armory in order to get some equipment for myself, especially footwear for my sore, cold feet...

Well, it wasn't as boring as I thought it would be after that "fated" encounter with a certain feisty-looking red-haired woman. She was like the third non-grunt person I had seen in this new life of mine as a Max Brain's grunt, but...

Since she was in this lair and acting like she was one of the major players in this place (and also dressed quite casually to boot), it was "safe" to say that she was most likely one of the villains working under Max Brain... and we had a rather awkward first impression too...

"Sigh... What the hell is with this place..." I complained, venting to myself over the weird course of events that had happened within just one morning.
