Chapter 1: Prologue

However, a new threat was unleashed onto the world. Strange creatures started to appear out of nowhere, ravaging cities and disappearing without a trace. It was later revealed that their appearance wasn't a coincidence, but a prediction from our ancient past. Scientist, archeologists, and theologists discovered a prophecy, written in the ancient scrolls hidden within the Dead Sea. The prophecy talked in which 28 demonic beings known as "The Fallen Angels" would unleash the apocalypse as the morning star came fell from heavens. They were said to have eaten from the fruit of knowledge, getting thrown out of the heavens as punishment. With each part of the prophecy coming true, the United Nations funded an organization dedicated to stopping the apocalypse. An organization known as NERV. The first and second branches are located in The United States, while the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh are located in England, Germany, China, Japan, and Russia. In order to defeat the demonic monsters, they created a series of giants, dedicated to defeating the Angels. The ultimate combat system in the world ....The Evangelion.
