Chapter 42: Explanation
Linda's mouth hung open from what she heard.'He suffers from DID.'
"Dear, Zenith, he himself doesn't know that he suffers from DID. He developed this when he was nine years old.",Mary told Linda with tears welled up in her eyes.
"Why? How? Can't this be cured?",Linda asked as she felt wronged.
"It can be. Actually he created DID when he lost his twin brother."
"What Zenith had a twin brother?",Linda asked as she didn't know anything about this.
"Yes, Zenith had a twin brother and he died when they both went for a camping. Zenith felt it wronged when he died, so he created DID right after he came from camping. The doctor said that he must have felt useless as he couldn't save his twin brother and as a result he created DID.",Mary stopped talking for a moment and continued,"He thinks that he just suffers from severe headache and goes for a consultation whenever he couldn't bare the pain in his head. We have always have people hidden for monitoring him and that is how we saved you when he tried to kill you. We knocked out you both and then hypnotized you so you could forget about that day. But we didn't think that you could remember those again.",Mary said and embraced Linda in her arms.
"Why? You should said this earlier, I could have found a solution for this, aunt.",Linda said.
"Dear, we thought he was cured. He didn't act like this after he turned twenty. So basically we thought he was cured, but suddenly out of nowhere it popped out and his doctor told that he must have tried to kill you because he couldn't accept you has his wife."
"Aunt, is it cured by now are not? Is it severe now?",Linda questioned in an concerned tone.
"Mm, well the doctor told me that he came for the consultation three months ago and by then he noticed that he was steady and nothing was different. He told that he is getting cured. If he didn't get triggered any further then he might get cured fully.",Mary said with a smile.
"I have wronged him. I should ask for him to forgive me.",Linda told with a welled up eyes.
"Dear never mention him about the incident when he tried to kill you, he must feel broken when he knows you were mostly killed by him.",Mary patted Linda's head and bit farewell.
Linda was happy after what she heard. She was overjoyed when she thought that Zenith didn't try to harm her with his proper mind. These all happened because of his DID.

Zenith was in his office reading the documents that required his signature when his phone vibrated. Immersed in his work he answered his phone call,"Zenith here."
"Hey, idiot when do you plan on taking us back home.",Zenith gasped as he heard the voice and only then he looked at caller's ID.
