Cyril looked at Laura beside him as Grant gathered everyone so they can return to their world. Laura smiled at him after noticing his gaze.

Well, they had a long night together after all. They have chatted for several hours and they learned a lot of things about each other.

Perhaps, it is because Laura shouldn't be existing at this point in his previous life, Cyril had a different impression of her that he could exactly tell.

After all, her future is completely unknown after Cyril decided to save her from certain death. He somehow feels connected to whatever fate Laura is about to walk.
