Chapter 1: Synopsis & Excerpt

Selena Claire de Akkadian was the female antagonist of the popular boy's love web novel entitled, 'The Crimson Tide'. She was the fiancee of the cold and aloof young lord of La Selencia, Lucas Del Sol Lorraine, who is one of the five love interests of Lambert La Cartier.

Lambert was a poor commoner who met Lucas at a local tavern. They fell in love with each other, making the arrogant and proud Selena bore the name of the 'unwanted heiress'. She was executed in the novel, for she was held responsible for poisoning Lambert that made him lost his sight in the process.

Lillian was a forty or so years old, unmarried, and an unwanted woman. Who devoted her whole life in literary studies and reading fiction stories to fantasize about the archaic heroic figures of the past.

Lillian was having a good time reading 'The Crimson Tide' when the author announced that she will not be able to continue writing the novel because her grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and she was needed to tend her grandmother at the hospital.

With the sudden news of hiatus, Lillian missed a step on the stairs and knocked her head hard on the cemented ground. She unknowingly died because of her carelessness, but she was mysteriously reborn as the famously hated female antagonist inside the novel she was reading!

Lillian unwittingly opened her lackluster green eyes, dumbstruck and terrified. She could only wail to the top of her lungs and wiggle her short and skinny limbs.
