Chapter 274: The Might of a Spirit Summoner! [1]

Spirit beasts were predominantly of 2 types.

There were the support Spirit Beasts and the Combat Spirit beasts, and there was the rarer type of spirit beasts that encompassed the attributes of the first 2 to a lesser degree, they were called the Hybrids.

Support Spirit Beasts were like their name described. When brought to reality by a Summoner, these spirt beasts thrived more by supporting other beasts.

As for Combat Beasts, these monsters could fight in real airspace with some developing exotic abilities that were hard to counter by normal supers.

The Hybrids combined the essence of both types to a lesser degree. The Ghost War Tiger that Legolas subdued was a perfect example of a Hybrid Spirit beast, not only could it support cat-type beasts, it could also fight.

As for the remaining 2 like the Spirit Wolf and the Spirit Raven, these guys were more optimized for support and Legolas had a reason for choosing them.
