Sun glinted off the Hyuga compound as Hanabi's Byakugan activated, her gaze piercing my chakra points with laser precision. With a flash of my one tomme Sharingan, I countered her Gentle Fist strikes, each movement pre-empted thanks to Mangekyo Sharingan's foresight. Her speed was impressive, but mine, honed by rigorous training, held the edge. I awaited for her mistake, and it came. A momentary lapse in focus, a glance into my eyes – that's all it took. A subtle genjutsu woven into her vision slowed her reflexes, and with a swift leg sweep, she was on the ground, my kunai pressed against her pale throat.
(I summon the kunai form the seal which I purchased from Sora-Ku. The same seal which is placed in Sasuke's wrist which he used in his battle against Itachi and after it.)
The kunai, summoned from a seal mirroring my iconic wrist storage, gleamed with an unholy promise hung heavy in the air. Hiashi, stoic as ever, held a flicker of surprise beneath his calm façade.
Fight only lasts for 7 seconds. No one see the genjutsu I use. They just saw Hanabi attacking me fiercely and then I made her tripped. And she lost. I can see Hiashi was surprised a little which he hide efficiently. I mean- WHAT WAS HE EXPECTING? WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN? BRUH!
Hinata and others watched, anticipation palpable. But Neji was looking at me seriously.
Hiashi- "Sasuke Uchiha won. Neji take your place."
Neji came in front of me and took his fighting stance. I also got ready.
Neji, ever serious, stepped forward, his eyes burning with intensity. Hiashi's "Start!" unleashed a flurry of taijutsu.
Fists collided, chakra sparking in violent bursts. I exchanged blows with Neji, his Byakugan dissecting my every move and my one tomme sharingan doing the same. He used gentle fist and I countered with chakra coated fists. Unlike Hanabi with whom fought with only one hand, this opponent demanded your full focus, both arms engaged in a symphony of strikes and blocks. The fight reached a fever pitch, both of us pushing our limits. Neji landed a gut-wrenching blow, sending me reeling, a hint of blood staining my lips. His smirk was a blade to my pride.
Neji- "You are strong uchiha. I will give you that. But you will lose. Its my destiny to win."
Sasuke- 'Hn.' I replied with legendary uchiha grunt which made Neji angry.
Neji- "Forfeit Uchiha! I don't want to kill the last uchiha. You can't win from your destiny."
Please, if I die Itachi will start a 4th ninja war against leaf.
"Hyuga," I rasped, eyes flaring with two tomoe Sharingan, "Uchihas don't bow to preordained destinies. We forge our own."
My speech about destiny irritated Neji but I don't care. I keep kunai at side and summoned shuriken. And then I started using shurikenjutsu and attacked him with shuriken form all sides. I keep spamming shurikens and Neji was deflecting everyone with gentle fist.
Shuriken rained down, a deadly dance as Neji deflected each with pinpoint accuracy. But my aim wasn't just defense. A seemingly errant stick, guided by shuriken strings, struck him at the vulnerable nape of his neck. Neji's smirk vanished, replaced by shock and fury.
"That's your victory?" he spat, his voice dripping with venom, disbelief laced with anger.
I offered a cold smile. "Do you really think I was throwing all those shurikens without any reason. That stick didn't just hit you by luck. I aim at that part of your body. Every Hyuga's Byakugan has a blind spot. I have found the blind spot. Its right at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. If I had thrown a kunai, you would have been seriously injured. I didn't rely on luck, Hyuga. I exploited your weakness."
The revelation rippled through the onlookers. I saw fear mingled with awe in their eyes. It was a lie, of course, but a lie that served its purpose. ( Every Naruto fan knows about Byakugan's blind spot.) Neji lunged, fueled by rage, but a well-placed paper bomb forced him back. 5 Shadow clones materialized around me, mimicking my stance.
Neji scoffed. "Clones won't save you, Uchiha."
"These aren't ordinary clones, Hyuga," I countered, my voice laced with dark amusement. "These are Shadow Clones, and they're about to show you the true meaning of despair."
Three clones who were at front shouted, 'Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu!'
His eyes widened as my clones unleashed fire jutsus, engulfing the training ground in an inferno. Substitution technique – Neji vanished, reappearing on a nearby tree. But there, waiting patiently, stood another clone, paper bomb strapped to its chest. Neji jumped, barely dodging the explosion. He landed hard, bruised and defeated, my kunai hovered inches from his neck. He thought of attacking the kunai with gentle fist.
He gritted his teeth, ready to lash out, but my words froze him. "It's a Shadow Clone. A suicide bomb. You can't win, Hyuga."
Neji started gritting his teeth. I looked at Hiashi. Hiashi's gaze, unreadable, met mine. Was it pride or apprehension that flickered behind his mask? Cause my victory or Neji's loss? I held his gaze, waiting for the verdict.
"Victory goes to Sasuke Uchiha," he declared, his voice neutral yet tinged with something deeper.
The fight ended not in bloodshed, but in a display of tactical brilliance, affirming my intelligence, skill, and ruthless cunning. I had defied destiny, not through blind rebellion, but through strategic mastery. And in the eyes of the Hyuga clan, I had earned something more than respect: I had earned their fear.
