Chapter 163: Death Road!

In the sun-scorched expanse of the 21st floor known as the Poisonous Insect Desert, danger lurked beneath every grain of sand. An uneasy murmur ran through the adventurers assembled there as they tallied their grim findings: one Big Poison Scorpion out of ten, three Deep Cave Worker Ants out of fifty, and twenty-three Colorful Winged Poisonous Moths out of a hundred. Yet, nothing prepared them for what was to come.

Suddenly, a blood-curdling scream pierced the air. "Ahhh--Help!" Several adventurers, faces etched with terror, pivoted on their heels and dashed away, their heavy boots kicking up clouds of sand. They fled from a monstrous sight: a giant red centipede, grotesque and menacing, that burst forth from the earth. As it emerged, its colossal body heaved upwards, hurling clods of dirt and pebbles skyward.
