Chapter 2: The Birth of Ion
After finishing my 'meal' I had a lot to think about, such as where I am, when I am, and where to live. The where I am isn't really important yet, as for the when I am that has been answered with the t-rex, as I am clearly somewhere in the Jurassic period.
Finding where to live, I need somewhere near water, and speaking of water I was actually quite thirsty so I got some water and went back into the forest looking for a cave to live in.
As I was looking for one I noticed a mountain and thinking that there are caves on the mountain I head up it. There are probably many many dinosaurs on the mountain but I don't really care, I just want somewhere to live at the moment. On the way up the mountain, I spotted a giant bird?
I believe they were called Argentavises, but I didn't have time to think about that because it was heading for me along with others. I didn't really feel like fighting at the moment so I started going up the mountain quicker than before. Though that didn't really seem to do anything as they caught up to me just as I spotted a cave but knowing they would likely follow me in.
So I formed some tentacles into spikes and started launching them at the birds, they hit the birds and they fell to the ground. I continued my ascent up the mountain toward the cave, walking in or sliding in it was full of bats that upon my presence flew out of the cave. Looking around my new home, there were stalagmites and stalactites everyone and a pool of water near the left wall of the cave further in.
With my home established I just fell over, I was mentally and physically exhausted from everything that had happened today from being in the void after I had died from...from...what? I can't remember how I had died, thinking that I couldn't remember really anything from my previous life, not my friends, family or anything, not even my own name. I suppose that is why there are question marks on my name status.
Out of my many eyes, I started to cry and punched the wall with many tentacles, "NOT EVEN MY OWN NAME!!!", I tried to yell but what came out was some inaudible sound. I was sad and angry that I had lost my memories, but I couldn't really do anything about that but move on without them and hopefully make new ones in the process. I needed a name to signify the start of my new life and with that, I decided on my new name for my new life.
'System, my name is Ion', I thought towards the system.

With that Ion's new life truly begins.
