Chapter 118: TAKING THE POOL'S MAGMAS

TAKING THE POOL'S MAGMAS

"What magic is this? How can you divert my flames", Xerrus asked us furiously.

But diverting Xerrus' breath wasn't the same as killing him and we needed to kill him to pass his trial.

Suddenly, magical chains fell on Xerrus' wrists and ankles before pulling them into the air.

"Golden Chains of Greed and Restrains"

Ratatouille's magical chains fell on Xerrus to capture him.

"I was wondering when you will use your bloody chains", I said to Ratatouille.

"How can your chains capture me?" Xerrus asked us angrily.

"Say hi to Greed, the Anti-Saint", Aluva said to Xerrus and replied to him.

"You came with an Anti-Saint? Is the Dark Angel with you?" Xerrus asked.

"We don't need the Dark Angel to kill you", I replied to Xerrus.

Suddenly, a long powerful spear extended from me which pierced deep into one of Xerrus's necks which caused it to break, decapitating one of the creature's heads.

"Lance of Drakul"

"Arggghhhhh"

Xerrus screamed at the damage to one of his throats but to our surprise, he couldn't regenerate his head from the wound on his neck.

"How dare you break my neck?" Xerrus asked me angrily.

But before we could answer him, another magical spear was conjured and dashed to Xerrus' other throats to destroy it too.

"No…", Xerrus screamed as both his heads were decapitated.

Xerrus was extremely powerful, but his greatest strength was his amazing regenerative ability. However, as with all invincibility, there usually were Achilles' Heels. Xerrus' Achilles' Heel was his neck.

"Lance of Drakul"

Without waiting for long, I broke the last of Xerrus' heads with my conjured lance projection.

"How did you know Xerrus' vulnerability is his necks?" Eirot asked me.

"Creatures and deities with multiple heads usually have weak necks, I guess", I replied to her with my theory.

Soon, Xerrus's body was dropped back into the Pool of Suffering. Xerrus's body dived into pool of suffering and was dissolved in it.

Eirot took control of the Pool of Suffering.

Suddenly, the magical patterns in the sky above the Pool of Suffering shone with a remarkable glow. The Pool of Suffering has acknowledged Eirot's claim over it.

"Arise", Eirot commanded the pool when suddenly an elephant demon appeared again and flew toward her.

The Gajahshura that sacrificed his life to save Eirot was revived and summoned again.

"What are you going to name him?" I asked Eirot who adopted the Gajahshura as her pet.

"I'll name you Aloysius", Eirot said to her Gajahshura.

"What about Alfred?" I asked her.

Without answering me, Eirot commanded the pool again.

Suddenly, a creature emerged from the pool and to our surprise he was a three-headed hound, much like a younger version of Xerrus the Incarnate.

"Didn't you summon Alfred?" I asked Eirot.

"I did but he didn't appear", Eirot replied to me.

"What did you summon?" I asked her but it was the creature who replied to me.

"I am the Incarnate of Xerrus of course, don't you recognize my beautiful heads?" Xerrus told us.

"I didn't summon you", Eirot said to him.

"I am the guardian of this Pool of Suffering, and I will always be even if you passed my Trial of Killing and claimed my pool. I will become your guardian from now on", Xerrus said to her.

"Where is the soul of Alfred, my Bullhound?" Eirot asked Xerrus.

"Oh he, I'm afraid his time has passed. He is an old hound, and his magic is at its end. He will need time to rejuvenate his soul before he can be reborn someday", Xerrus told Eirot.

"Alfred", Eirot said with tears flowing from her as she grief at Alfred's sacrifice for her.

"What do you call the three headed hound?" Rataotuille asked Eirot.

"I'll call him Alfred from now on, in memory of my Alfred", Eirot said to me.

"What does the Pool of Suffering do for you?" I asked Eirot.

Eirot connected her mind to the spell that she created to subdue this magic pool. Her mind entered the consciousness of the pool to establish a connection with it.

After a while, Eirot returned to us.

"I understand now the magic of the Pool of Suffering", Eirot said to us.

"What magic does it have?" I asked her.

"The Pool of Suffering can summon demonic creatures like the Gajahshura and it gives me magic to control the domain around the pool", Aluva explained to me.

"How do you control the domain around your pool?" I asked her.

"I havent tried it yet, but it should trigger a magical moat around the pool", she told me.

"So, do you plan to turn this volcano into your new castle or base in Elis?" Ratatouille asked her.

"That will be the most logical use of the Pool of Suffering. In the realm of Suffering, each Pool of Suffering is a fortress for its owners", Lord Brathnok said to us.

"There are more than one Pool of Sufferings?" I asked them.

"There is more than one Pool of Sufferings in Elis. In fact, there are many such pools in Elis and Hell", Aluva said to us.

"If only I can take the Pools with me then I can combine their magic", Eirot said to me.

"No one had ever done that before. How can we even move the magical pool?" Lord Brathnok asked the Savior who had no answer.

I thought about it for a second and then said to them, "the pool is just the sum of its waters and in the case of the Pool of Suffering, its magical magmas. If we can take away the magmas, then we effectively took away the pool".

"How do we even take the magmas out of the pool?" Eirot asked me.

"I don't know about magmas, but I actually took water from the magical aquor pools in the realm of Aquor", I told them.

"How did you do that?" Eirot asked me.

"Well, with the Cruet of Sacrifice", I told her.

"Yes, by the way where is my Cruet. Give it back to me", Aluva demanded from me.
