More magnificent and resplendent than the hall itself, the first thing one saw was the priceless, handmade golden tiger head hanging directly ahead. Below the tiger head sat a massive chair; two steps led down to it, with eight chairs arrayed around it, four on each side. The hall was spacious, in the style of old Western architecture, with Western masterpieces hanging on the walls and a variety of antique decorations placed around, giving the entire place the feel of walking into a Western royal court—noble and lavish.
This was a home of a noble family, one that could not fail to amaze.
