"I-Its M-Mary Sue Poots" said Skye
Ken was stunned hearing that name "What!?" he asked in surprise
"It's Mary Sue Poots, the sisters from the orphanage gave me this name" explained Skye
It wasn't the name that surprised Ken as he had heard weird names before but the implication behind it, Orphan with the name of Mary Sue Poots who changed her name to Skye there is only one girl in marvel that he knows have it, Daisy Johnson a.k.a Quake. What are the chances of him meeting her like this in New York practically zero but here she is standing in front of him.
"Umm... Mr!?" Skye called out.
"Yes, Sorry I was just a little surprised by your name that's all so Mary Sue Poots why did you leave your orphanage to live like this isn't it more comfortable to sleep in a bed in the orphanage than sleep here?" asked Ken
"Don't call me that!? My name is Skye and it's none of your business wherever I live" Skye said
"True it's none of my business but as a responsible citizen it is my business to tell the authorities that a runway orphan has been found right?" said Ken as he took out his cell phone to call someone
"Wait no don't call them I don't wanna go back there I want to find out about my parents" Skye said as she grabbed his hand that was holding his cellphone.
Ken looked at Skye and asked her "You don't wanna live in the orphanage and want to find out about your parents? And how are you going to do that by living here like this?"
"What do you know it's still better than living here like this is much better than living with the adoptive families they take you in because of the money they get for taking care of us but treat us like slaves even when you get to a good family, they abandon you the moment they get their own BABY" Skye said while shouting the last part as tears started to pour out of her eyes.
Ken stayed silent for few minutes to let her cry her heart out and after she started to regain her feelings and stopped crying, he said "Pack your bags"
"What!?" Skye asked in surprise thinking that he is still going to take her to the authorities.
"Don't worry I am not taking you back to the orphanage but I can't leave you here as well, tramps and druggies live here there is no way I am going to leave you here so pack your bags you are going to follow me" said Ken in stern voice making Skye follow his command and hurriedly starting to pack her bags
It didn't take her much time to pack as there wasn't much for her to pack after which she followed Ken out of the abandon building and from there, he called a taxi for the two for his house. He had bought a 2-story house in Brooklyn with enough rooms, so he didn't have any problem giving one of them to Skye. After they reached the house Ken gave one of the rooms on the first floor to Skye while his was on the ground floor beside the living room.
"I am going to live with You!?" Skye asked in surprise
"Don't worry! I won't do anything to you seriously I just won't feel ok if I left you there so just stay here okay." Ken said to which Skye slowly nodded her head as if still didn't believe what Ken said.
"Come on what is with that look, you really think I would do something to you? When you look like barely a teen, no one will believe you are 15 okay and I have standards, so you really don't have to worry" Ken said in an annoyed tone
"You! Hmph! Then I will enjoy my stay here" said Skye as she stomped her way upwards while Ken smiled at how easy it easy to manipulate her.
Like this Skye started to live with Ken, and after 2 weeks when she was comfortable with Ken, he started teaching her about hacking which he learned from Niijima, since she wanted to find about her parents it was one of the skills she would desperately need in the future.
Though he also wanted to teach her martial arts but since she was malnourished before meeting her Ken waited a month for her to gain some fat before he started training her. Ken had turned one of the rooms on the ground floor as a gym with equipment's and another as a practice room by laying down the mats. AT first Skye didn't wanted to learn as Ken was quite serious when training her but after getting her ass handed down by Ken quite a few times Skye swore that one day she would return them to him after she has learned everything, Ken just smiled at that and encouraged Skye to give her all. There was no way he would let her know his full strength.
Few more months passed new year came and went when Ken got a call from his agent that HBO and Warner Bros. wanted to buy the rights of his books for which he was getting called to Los Angeles, so Ken decided to take Skye with her as he feared that she would create a lot of trouble on her own but then a problem occurred as Skye didn't have an Id so she couldn't travel in airplane cause of which Ken went to the same broker that made his Id to make one for Skye as well. Two weeks later Skye was officially Skye Johnson, since a surname was needed Ken decided to use her real surname so as to not create a problem in future.

While Ken was taking care of Skye, In Japan SHIELD was trying to increase their influence but it has become a problem for them as Niijima with the increase of fame of The Shinpaku Alliance and Shirahama Industries have started to open more and more branches all over Japan and not even that even international branches of the two companies have started opening increasing the headache of SHIELD, moreover they have been unable to even make one of the captains of The Shinpaku Alliance join Shield. Though Thankfully Clint was able to make Bobbi Morse join SHIELD but it wasn't enough what Fury really wanted was for SHIELD to have people like Black Widow, Miu Furiniji, Saeko Busujima, Ma Renka and Kenichi Shirahama. People with not only strength but even background that will help SHIELD grow.
