Chapter 417: 417. The Eve of the fight.
"I can't live in fear Elder, and really there is no way to know that he would come so how can I stay back" Kenichi said
They had recently saved an ambassador and her daughter from YAMI and sent them away with the help of Inspector Honamki and got the information about Akira Hongo moving and even about Jenazad lingering around.
The reason Kenichi really wanted to kill the guy because he sensed him once watching him but couldn't see him with his eyes if it wasn't for his ki sense he wouldn't have found out about it. But he wasn't worried about Jenazad watching him, but the person he was with being watched by him made him worry as he was with his little sister who was showing him the moves she learnt from Shigure and it was easy to see that she was already a middle class disciple. Kenichi didn't want Jenazad to get any interest in her sister so there was no way he would risk letting him stay alive.
"If you are still worried then I can follow them and keep watch from a distance." Shizuha said, "I should be able to stop him if he really comes after Kenichi"
"If you do that then you won't be hiding anymore and the Kuremisago Clan will enter the frey to take you back or kill you" Elder stated
"I know but I can't always stay back in fear of it, I am also doing this for you Natasha to show that we don't need to hide from our past and only when we face them will we be truly free." Shizuha said as she looked towards her disciple Natasha
"I understand Master" said Natasha bowing her head.
"You said it yourself, he's crafty and cunning. I believe I speak for all of us that we don't like the fact Jenazad has set his sight on our disciple, but if we don't spring it now, who knows when Jenazad will attempt it again. Despite our constant vigilance, he may try to strike at a time that we may not expect it." Akisame said supporting Shizuha's decision.
The Elder frowned at that thought, but had to agree that Jenazad would do something like that, like even kidnap Kenichi in broad daylight and at school if he felt like it.
"Miu and I will be taking trackers so Niijima can track us no matter what," added Kenichi, "I'm not sure how it works or how he even got them, but they're extremely small and durable. One will be on the back molar of our teeth, which will be covered by a fake crown. Another will be on a personal item. My Yin-Yang Pin and Miu's hair clips will have them."
"So even if they manage to find one, they won't expect another one," hummed Kensei, "Yami won't expect us to have such wealth, considering our position. They might expect the first tracker, but not the hidden tracker in the mouth as it's very expensive to get. Speaking of which, how did your friend even get them?"
"It's something our engineers team created in the company" replied Kenichi
"Hmm.... looks like this is going to be good let's follow their plan father" said Shizuha
"Okay, if that's what you want then, I will support you and if the Kuremisago Clan came then as your father I will deal with them." said Elder Hayato as ki was released from his eyes.
"Great is there anything else we need to think about" asked Kensei
"I intend to have my son come help. He will no doubt want to be involved in this," rumbled the Elder.
Indeed, the last time Shizuha and Elder had spoken in secret with him, Saiga had stated that he would be there to try to prevent Kenichi from getting kidnapped by Jenazad, even if it meant exposing his real identity.
With all this preparation, one would think they were prepared to handle Jenazad. But unbeknownst to them all, not everything, even future knowledge, could prepare them for what Yami, or specifically, Jenazad, had planned.

Kenichi tied his belt while adjusting his gauntlets, ready for what was expected to come. He and Sakaki would be heading out to rescue the Yami engineer defector while clashing against Hongo and Sho. Making sure he had everything, Kenichi's tongue unconsciously flicked over the fake crown with the tracker in it. It was quite shocking that Niijima had access to such stuff, but put off such worries for now.
"Are you ready?" asked Miu as she tightened her glove before adjusting her hair.
"I am, but are you sure you want to come?" asked Kenichi, "It might be safer if you stayed behind."
Miu shook her head as her hands clasped onto his, her fingers curling up and interlocking with Kenichi's fingers.
"I would beset with worry that I would end up going anyways," whispered Miu, reveling in the warmth of Kenichi's fingers, "Moreover even Natasha is coming so I don't want to miss this chance to watch a life and death battle"
Sakaki, Kenichi, and Miu soon made it to the location Niijima had traced to.
"Stay here," ordered Sakaki as he made his way into the building.
Kenichi and Miu nodded, staying in the alleyway as Sakaki barged through the door without a care. It didn't take long for Kenichi and Miu to spot Nakaharu Osamu, the Yami defector, walking towards the same building, carrying a bag of medical supplies. Upon being spotted, Nakaharu tried to run but was easily caught by Miu. Though upon closer inspection, Nakaharu realized that the two weren't from Yami. Before he could go any further though, the building complex's windows exploded, followed by Sakaki tackling an armored knight and using him as a cushion to land on a vehicle while carrying a bodyguard that had been injured and recovering from his wounds.
"Ah he is carrying one of the special agents that got injured while protecting me" said Nakaharu.
Sakaki ignored him as he punched the knight through his helmet, indenting it as well as knocking out the knight before tossing him to the side. Sakaki jumped off the vehicle and strode towards Kenichi and the others, ignoring the explosion from the vehicle.
Sakaki passed the barely conscious bodyguard to Kenichi before turning around to deal with the slightly bigger threat. A whole squadron of armored knights came marching forth, glaring at Sakaki. People were naturally confused to see western medieval knights in the middle of the city in Japan. If people were going to film something, they'd surely use the Japanese culture of medieval knights, the samurais, right?
"Considering that I will face Hongo, I thought that he will come alone but it looks like these guys won't allow it so how about you help me take care of them Kenichi"
