Chapter 491: The Fake Blood

Alexander disappeared and resurfaced in front of Kingsley. Before the poor guy could fathom what was going on, Alexander snatched a pint of blood from Kingsley's hand.

"My Lord is there something wrong with the blood?" Emilia asked softly seeing the way he was examining the blood in his hand.

"You call this blood?" Alexander thundered, throwing the blood at the kneeling Emilia.

The sternness of his voice made Kingsley's heart sink.

Emilia lowered her gaze at the busted pint of blood that splashed on her feet. Although the thing looked exactly like blood but the smell emitting from it made her realise that what they seized wasn't blood.

At that moment realisation struck her that they have been fooled once again. Her heart and feet trembled. She almost lost her balance as she staggered backwards.

As she stood there Emilia had already known that she won't be spared no matter how she pleaded so she decided to leave herself to fate.
