Chapter 134: You must surrender
Eveline gulped when she saw his bloodshot eyes, but what worried her the most was the way he smiled at her.
Betrayal has weakened his face.
Eveline gazed at Gabriel, who took a rapid step back.
"Alex, please listen to me. You require assistance, and in order to obtain it, you must surrender to the police. They will guide you, and believe me, you will improve." Eveline attempted to persuade Alex.
She knew she was the only one who could persuade him.
Alex's eyes softened, but he couldn't stop the tears streaming down his cheeks. Eveline, out of everyone he trusted, was the one who betrayed him.
His love for her blinded him, and he couldn't see the real her.
"Why did you do this to me?" he inquired, his expression sad.
Eveline knew he was hurt, but he deserved it because he ruined her character in front of the entire campus. He offended her by joining hands with Tiffany and this was the least she did in return.
