Chapter 106: The fruit of patience is sweet

After lunch, Alex was nowhere to be found. He left with a sigh of relief from his concerns, which made Eveline very happy. But even with Alex's absence, there was one person in particular who seemed a little strange the whole time.

Tiffany was by herself, lost in her own thoughts, occupying the corner seat silently, but something drew Eveline's immediate attention—the hand that rested on Tiffany's neck the entire lecture.

She wanted to know why she was acting so strangely, but as soon as the lecture ended, Tiffany hurried out of the room as the professor left.

Eveline trailed behind her, watching as she hurried to the girl's restroom.
