Eveline's cheeks became pale at the sound of Gabriel's comments, but the next moment, she noticed the corner of his lips twisted up in an enticing smile.

It then struck Eveline like an arrow, and she slapped his arm.

"Gabriel Winston, how dare you make fun of me like that!!" She shouted and continued to slap him, only to hear his hearty chuckle in response.

Eveline nearly had a heart attack when she realized Gabriel had doubts about her rebirth. But, thank goodness, he was just pulling her leg.
