Pulling a chair over so they could sit, Gabriel watched her fascinated by the location and grinned.

"Are you still reading the romance novels you gave me for my birthday?" Gabriel asked, jolting Eveline out of her reverie.

Her face was twisted into a confused frown as she questioned, "Why?"

"Because after reading that book you gave me, I just so happened to become interested in them."
