The romantic setup inside the room caught Eveline off guard. The bed was decorated with petals, and the small table was adorned with candles and aromatic food.

As her eyes adjusted to the pleasant environment, a pair of arms hugged her from behind.

"Do you like my surprise?" he muttered, putting his chin on her shoulder.

Eveline's panic expression was soothed, but it quickly turned into anger, and she elbowed him by hitting his stomach.

"Ow.."

"Surprise, huh? You called me here by sending that freaking note? How dare you, Gabriel Winston. How could you scare me like that?"

Eveline refused to stop and continued to hit him.

Gabriel, who had been waiting for Eveline to finish her girl talk, decided to come up with the idea after she took longer than expected.

"You said to be very quick. Is an hour really quick?" He inquired.

"So you will send me this," she said, shoving the note in his face.
