Chapter 59: Girlfriend?

"Hmm, so you live here?" Stefan said thoughtfully, rubbing his chin while standing before the grocery store along with Ella.

"Are you certain you have a mind in that head of yours, or do you consider me stupid?" she asked, rolling her eyes at his clumsy joke before making her way inside the shop.

With a chuckle, Stefan dropped his act and followed her inside the shop.

"Are you going to cook for yourself tonight? If so, may I come along?" Ella paused before glaring at Stefan with a playful expression.

"That was a direct call. Shouldn't you ask me whether I am interested in inviting you?" she asked, shaking her head helplessly before resuming her task.

"You did invite me for a drink that night, so I figured we were close enough to visit each other's house." Stefan's lips curled up when Ella shot a glare at him.
