Chapter 62: Ends up being the disappointment herself?

Students were looking forward to the event the college organized for them. This athletic event gives a lot of students the chance to evaluate their academic performance. Some people played the game seriously, while others just enjoyed the day.

"Did Eveline let you know what sports she plans to play besides volleyball?" Stefan asked, stretching his arms and legs to warm up for the game.

"No," Gabriel replied grumpily.

Gabriel had tried asking Eveline about it but the girl simply kept her tongue tied. He did not know what was wrong with her, or why she was making such a big deal out of answering his straightforward query. So he decided to drop his question and look forward to what she was up to.

"I will be back," Gabriel said, excusing himself from the spot, before making his way to the shared sink area.
