Chapter 11: Becoming a Celebrity
Ad made sure not to leave a single Ant behind. He either slashed or pierced, making quick work of them. If he had to, he dodged. If he couldn't dodge, he entered the shadows and went for another Ant.
Ad wasn't going to stop until he didn't see a single Ant left. The floor of the fifth floor was already littered with Magic Stones, and more of them fell. Ants kept spawning, so Ad kept killing. He could feel his body warning him of how tired he was going to be once he stopped, so he kept going. He had a hunch that, if he stopped, the Ants wouldn't stop coming.
Ad jumped when two Ants tried to slam at him from all directions, falling on top of them while turning, effectively cutting their heads appart in the process. He rolled backwards when another Ant jumped on him and he pierced towards his back, where another one was trying to bite his waist. Around that time, Natsuki arrived. And Ad coul feel only one thing from the people she arrived with. Amazement and confusion.
He saw with a side-glance that they were members of the Astrea Familia, and he was happy to see it was two people he knew already. Alexio and Amaro, the two hunters who were chasing a criminal that one time when he still lived in the village. And, to boot, two beauties. He just smiled at them as he slashed another Ant, cutting its head in half.
Alexio: He has only been in the city for a few days...
Amaro: How is he doing this? What is that weird armour?
Natsuki: Well... I would be betraying his trust if I were to just tell our Familia's secrets just like that, right?
Alexio: That is true, but I don't think this will be a secret after this...
After Alexio's words, the sound of clattering steps was heard. Soon, an entirely different group of people arrived at the scene. Their reaction, just like the previous pair, was one of amazement. There was one person though, who didn't look amazed, but who was extremely excited, and seemed to have found gold.
She was wearing the same kind of revealing outfit Amazonesses wear, and her caramel skin made her race even more obvious. She had silky black hair, and was just a few centimeters shorter than Ad. Her bust threatened Hestia's, and her curvy waist and heavy buttocks gave her the look of a natural seductress.
The enamored look on her face made one thing clear. She had found the one man for her, as it was the purpose of most Amazonesses when leaving Telskyura.
Ad, who simply decided to ignore the rest of the people, kept on killing Ants. His movements were akin to a dance in the eyes of his espectators. His sword moved seamlessly through the path his arm set for it, as if it was but another part of his arm. When he dissapeared in the shadows, everyone gasped, only to be surprised when he appeared above or below an Ant.
How many Killer Ants had he killed? He didn't know. He was pretty sure he had gone beyond the hundred Ants, and might've already killed at least two hundreds. The only thing on his mind, was to exterminate the Ants.
After what felt like an eternity for those who were watching, and a millisecond for the one who did it, Ad could no longer see any Ants on the section of the fifth floor he was in. He smiled peacefully as his body was once again surrounded by shadows, reappearing in his usual armour. He looked at Natsuki and mouthed something, though no sound came from his voice.
Adalwulf: I'm awesome, right?
Then, he fainted. Everything turned black, and all he could recognize were the muffled sounds of people talking. In his sleep, he felt a soft pillow below his head, and a certain weight on his chest. It was warm, and it carried worry, relief and a ginormous amount of love, all towards him.

While Ad slept, in different parts of Orario, a lot of people were talking.
A certain Goddess felt intrigued and excited about the new kid in the City who, if the rumours proved true, would be a huge piece of entertainment for her. After looking at him enough, she felt so excited in fact, she had to call one of her favourite children to calm down her urges.
Another red-haired Goddess was feeling displeased at this "new child", as he was somehow gaining the attention of her dear air-headed, blonde Adventurer. She had seen the moment with her own eyes, and she was captivated by the flawless movements of the boy. She wanted to ask him how he did it, so she could get stronger.
The last one was the first God to visit humans. He felt a weird sense of hope and, at the same time, dread. He knew that one with such potential could become the legend he needed to make everything right. And yet, he also felt that a huge danger was coming soon, and that God had no hand in stopping it. It was the mortals' turn to play their hand, and he was sure that whatever the boy became, he would be at the front of it all.

Ad woke up groggily, which was quite a weird thing for him to do. He could feel Hestia's weight on top of him, but he could also feel other two in his bed. Natsuki he could understand, sort of. But who else could've gotten in his bed?
When he opened his eyes, he was met by the face of an Amazonness. She was smiling brightly at him, with an enamored look on her face.
???: Good Morning, darling! I hope you slept well!
Adalwulf: Well, good morning, beauty. So, how long have I been sleeping? Oh, and who are you? So I may thank you properly for gracing my bed with such charm.
Hestia: Ad-kun!
Natsuki: Adalwulf!
The other two girls threw themselves into his arms Hestia was smiling so brightly that she Ad thought her smile would outshine the sun, while Natsuki was sobbing lightly. Ad simply hugged the Goddess with one arm, while patting Natsuki's head with the other.
Adalwulf: Now, now. Can any of you explain to me what happened while I slept?
