Chapter 72: Who Are They?

"Huh! Why does this gangster sound like Sam?" 

She lifted her head. She was shocked, looking at Sam standing near the car door, holding his cheek. His eyes were watery looking at her. 

"L-Lady B-Boss… why, why did you hit me?" Sam asked. A stinging sensation was felt in the area where the sole of sneakers hit him hard. His eyes were still hazy as to how hard Lady Boss slapped him.

"Oh my gosh! Sam… I'm really sorry. I thought you were one of those gangsters who wanted to hurt me. I tried to protect myself by beating you with the weapons I found, my shoe. Your face… I mean, your cheek is ok?" Rose feels terrible because she uses all her strength when she hits him.

"I'm fine, Lady boss..." Sam lied. Now his cheeks felt sorer and began to feel swollen. One thing that makes him grateful is that not one of his teeth fell out.
