Chapter 427: New Year's Eve (1)

The sun had just set over the horizon when Rose woke up from sleep. 

Her smile grew wider when she saw Evan still sleeping beside her. One of his hands supported her head. His face was facing the ceiling. She could clearly see how long and thick his eyelashes were, perfect.

Rose didn't dare to move for fear he would wake up.

For a moment, she satisfies her eyes on his handsome profile. Still, soon curiosity kicks in — she wants to take another look at his wound. Slowly she raised her hand to lift his clothes. But before she could, her hand was grabbed by him.

"Are you impatient to see me naked?" His hoarse voice made Rose blush with embarrassment. She pressed her lips tightly when he pinched her nose. "Wife, let's get ready." He laughs, looking at how adorable she is now. 

Soon, Evan wakes up and helps her to wake up too. "I think they've been waiting for us since earlier. I hear someone keeps knocking on the door..."
