Chapter 261: Awake

Rose's mind thought she was hallucinating, looking at her mother staring back at her. But after a few seconds of staring at each other, she realized she was not hallucinating. This is real! Her mother was awake. Instantly the book in her hand fell to the floor, and her entire body shook from happiness. 

"Mom!! Mom!" Rose gasped. "Y-You awake? M-Mommy? OMG!! OMG!! Wait wait! Hang in there, mom…." In a flash, Rose reached for the emergency button on the side of the bed to call the doctor.

She tries her best to not panic. She tries to think clearly. But of course, she fails. She can't control her raging heart. Like there was a storm in her heart that made her unable to stay still. Her eyes, unable to look anywhere else but her mother's face. She wanted to make sure that what she saw was not her imagination.
