Chapter 42: Touch

Staring at the person in front of him with increasing amusement, Eclipse could not help but break into a small smile the longer he looked at this dramatic woman. 

"You seem to be amused by me." She said, finally turning and looking the man right in the eyes. "Am I wrong?" 

"No. I certainly am amused." He said, still curled up in Aseko's coat while sitting up on the bed. "But I am curious, why did Ash send you? He definitely is not the type of person to trust me with just anyone." 

"Oh~. Very confident of your place in his life I see." The woman, Ru, said, eyes twinkling. "Well, you do have a nickname for him which he does not seem to mind and he sent me to you also … I would be confident too." 

"I don't really know what you mean." Eclipse said, giving her his best innocent face, knowing exactly what she is saying and has no intention of disproving her theories, whatever they may be.
