Chapter 148: Gardens

"Eclipse, what do you stand to gain from talking like this to us?" The voice asks as everyone turns to see Selene walking in through the doors, frowning at him. 

"Hello, mother." Eclipse said immediately as he slowly raised his head to her, not having to look to know who this woman in front of him is. 

Though she looks to be quite displeased with the man, he merely smiled the moment he saw her. And it was not a smile everyone would have predicted, a smile that told everyone he was going to be rescued by his mother again. 

No, he does not seem to be too sure of that happening and he does not even seem to believe that she is even there for him, to be on his side, anyway. 

He is just happy to see that she came, that he can be sure, with his very own eyes, that she is alright and that she is well. Because, who knows what will happen right after they are done making their decision.
