The slow kisses when turned hungry, they both didn't realize. Layla felt his hand resting on her back while the other one remained on her thigh. He moved his hand slowly up on her thigh, her body got tensed. She was the first one to pull away while breathing hard. Her chest rose and fell, noticing he was feeling the same or even more tenser than her.

Moving her hand to his chest, she stopped it to his left, feeling the thundering beats of his heart. When she was in a relationship with Roderick, Layla shared kisses with him, but he never carried the gaze like Lucius always did while being with her.
