Chapter 20: Quest for Hikari - Episode 18: Confronting Lia

We've gone through the waterway, encountered several monsters and even used Kentou as a bait, even though Sill didn't really want me to because it's quite questionable.
I was convinced by Sill enough to let Kentou's underwear cover her lower private parts, though as much as I hate it, humiliating her more would simply make her hate me more in the future.
Having nothing to do but painfully struggle, the Kunoichi told me her backstory, that she got lost from an expedition and was immediately branded as a deserter until Princess Lia found her and took her under her wing as her personal ninja.
As much as it pains me to say, once I go back to JAPAN several years from now, I'm going to change it with the help of certain leaders in just several months. No questions asked.
We arrived inside the Leazas Castle using a hidden pathway on the waterway, and with Kentou's guide, we approached a door disguised as a wall, all while avoiding several monsters about to block our path.
"Hey, Kunoichi-chan, is this it? Do I have to push the wall?" I spoke towards the bound Kentou on my shoulder, who reluctantly nodded.
"Master.... you won't kill Princess Lia, wouldn't you?" Sill spoke, worried that I would punish her too much.
I only stared at her.
"What? There's no way I could kill someone as important as her, the current King and Queen are too kind and let the nobles run around to do whatever they want, and Leazas would fall easily to Helman. They're weak, and Lia should become Queen despite how much I disliked her because of her torturing little girls like Hikari! This time, I'm going to put a complete stop on her wrongdoings!" I declared to let her realize what I truly meant, before I casually opened the hidden door to the Princess's Waiting Room with a gentle push and entered it.
In the room awaited Maris and Lia, who looked at our way.
"Ah! Kanami, have you taken our.... hostage yet...." Lia spoke, slowly stopping herself while realizing that I was carrying her bound Kunoichi and that Sill had entered after me.
"...."
I dropped Kanami down to the ground nonchalantly.
"Hey!!!" I ignored her cry and stared at Lia.
Time to get in my act.... probably.
"Yo. I'm here to make my report." I said, just before Maris and Lia glanced at me with suspicion, they're probably not going to believe me.
"Eh? How did you even get here using that door?" Lia asked, dumbstruck while still being suspicious about me entering the other way.
"Went in too deep on the mansion and entered a secret passage. And this girl was..... on second thought, Sill!"
Sill entered the room, while she was still in her Paris Academy Uniform, surprising Lia who put her hand near her mouth.
".... No, this isn't just it, Princess. Aside from the already completed ghost busting thing I've done hours ago, you've been tormenting girls like Hikari to death, right? Why? For what reason? For own self enjoyment?" The moment I asked this, Lia stood up, smiling like a creep and began scaring Sill as she held my arm.
Maris didn't speak, only observing my next move while taking out her spear from behind her, ready to strike if necessary.
"Of course! You're right, I enjoy it, ever since those years ago... although that should be out of the question, those girls sometimes kill themselves or die unfortunately...." Lia said, staring at me, and even taking glances to Sill at time to time.
She began to tell me several things to me without hesitation, such as her explaining that the girls she had captured and brought to Khien Manor initially resisted, until later, they're broken.
Lavender was also her favorite, as she was still resisting until the moment where she killed herself.
And all of what she talked about was without malice, just some boredom and frustration was present on her tone.
She doesn't really mind talking all that in front of us, even Sill became more creeped out and silently gripped on my jacket.
"Well, and about Hikari.... I'm keeping her at Khien Manor! She's mine, and, hm.... I can just give you twice the reward if you give me that girl, and maybe I can hire you to be my errand boy, too?"
At this point I wanna slap her hard then punish her in the Rance-styled manner.
"....."
I glanced at Sill, who looked at me with a pleading look.
"Haaaa..... Are you fucking stupid? At this point I don't really know whether to think of you as a girl who is really smart, or just foolish enough to think I can just accept intense amounts of money from you." I replied to Lia with a glare and a deep frown while carefully shifting my attention to the closet and a hidden set of tools on the corner.
"Plus, I didn't mention this, but I already found Hikari mi Blanc. She's safe in a hospital around this city, yet probably still in a vegetative state." I spoke once more, before approaching Lia while grabbing the Ghost Buster Sword and unsheathing it.
And then, Maris charged at me with her spear lunged quickly towards Sill, forcing me to step sideways and parry her spear before she used the blunt tip of her weapon to launch me to the wall, making a sound that would immediately alert the guards outside.
"Princess Lia, take my hand!" Maris quickly said and dashed to where I came from and even took Kanami with them, leaving Sill and me behind.
"Crap, good thing I have a smoke grenade left."
I quickly took out one of the smoke grenades I haven't used, tossed it towards the door, and with magic, I forced it to silently explode in a massive fog of smoke.
After that, I carried Sill with me and chased after them without forgetting to close the hidden door behind me.

It was morning, around 8:00 AM, and at this moment, Menad was currently the one guarding the gates to Leazas Castle, the Coliseum, and the Casino known as Hong Kong Macau.
There were a lot of people entering the gates than usual, maybe because there was a grand battle from the Rank 4 challenger, Sword Prince Zance and Mirage Sword Yulang, when she noticed a person hopping on the side, away from the lines of people going through the coliseum.
"That guy, what's he going to do?" Menad asked, seeing that Rance had cut through the lines and was standing near a wall.
Once he noticed her, he waved his hand towards her, and maybe his fans.
"Hey, Rance! The wall is slippery, you can't just..... climb it...." Menad warned Rance, but the guy just didn't care and began to walk right side up the wall.
All while he was eating several pieces of bread, a reason why he doesn't speak for now.
"..... What."
