Zainab was starlted from her mother's voice, "come you two here this instant!" Hafsa came out of their bedroom and with the signal of her hands she told Zainab to follow her into their parents room. Both the sisters were confused from their mother's sudden change of mood but especially Zainab, she was scared because she thought that maybe her amma caught her staring at the boy outside, after reaching into her parents room both girls found her mother sitting on the edge of the single bed and looking outside the small window situated at right side of the bed, "there are new neighbours in our society and they have a young boy of your age Zainab your father has warned me to close all the widows before him leaving the house but i did'nt because i know the house will get suffocated and also i trusted you both and i know you two won't let me down, so try to not go near the windows when you see someone is outside and close them before you father comes home, its for your own good as we cannot trust a stranger." Hafsa only nodded and so did Zainab, as they both were leaving her mother asked Zainab to stay, she look straight in to her eyes and said, "i trust you my girl do not make me regret it" and with that Zainab understood that her mother may have seen her by the window, "i won't amma" she said and left the room.
As Zainab was sitting on her kitchen chair flashbacks of what happened in the morning came into her mind, those brown eyes, lean body, tall height, sharp features she was unable to get the "model boy" out of her mind and this disturbed her so much. She never in her life has ever talked to a na-mehram boy before and never have she thought about it but now she was starting to have these weird butterfies in her stomach when she thought about him these feelings were confusing her but soon she remembered what her mother has told her and to keep her mind off of that boy she started making tea for her, meanwhile Hafsa came into the kitchen "baji i think that boy from next door is talking with abba jaan" she stated with so much excitement Zainab knew that she was'nt joking, "where are they? And why are you telling me this?" Zainab asked trying to keep a straight face "they are at our door and i know how much interested you are in that boy i can see it baji" Hafsa said with a wink, "don't talk to me like that and iam not interested in him, for god's sake don't let amma hear it Hafsa" said Zainab. She knew that Hafsa has noticed her staring at the boy she is very sharp when it comes to understanding people's emotion, but her mother's words ringing in her ears were stopping her from thinking any further.
Hussain
The only son of his parents and younger brother of his two older sisters Safia and Zoha, "never raise your voice or hand on any women and never think of them as any less" these words were thought from the day he opened his eyes. He was a young attractive 17 years old , he knew he was charming from the constant attention he recieved from his girl cousins and classmates unlike Zainab his family was open minded and focused on the education of their children, he noticed Zainab the very first they shifted from their former house to the new neighbourhood and just like always he knew that the girl was highly effected by his charm and as always he did'nt care just gave his best smile moved...
But he did'nt knew what his smile had
Done to Zainab!
Hussain had a little chat with Zainab's father when he went to their house to ask for a knife to open the cartons their belongings and that little chat made him realize what kind of a man he is and why his daughter acted that way on seeing him because it was all too new for her.
