Chapter 110: Chapter 110 Forest Training Camp: End

"This is bad..."

Midoriya Izuku kept his eyes fixed on the muscle-bound man in front of him, his mind filled with a sense of urgent warning. The killing intent coming from this guy was real—he wanted to kill him.

From the start, the muscle man had been trying to kill him. This enemy wasn't playing around, but now, Midoriya Izuku was really worried. He had lost his powered suit. Facing an opponent with a Quirk like "Enhancement" without any extra gear was practically hopeless...

He had left his "Grim Reaper Gloves" and "King of Storms" back in the training camp's dorm room. In his haste to find Kouta earlier, Midoriya had rushed here wearing just the basic mechanical suit.

"You really hurt me earlier, kid!!"

The muscle man had been thrown against a rock wall, leaving deep gouges, but if his muscle fibers hadn't expanded to protect him, he might have been killed by Midoriya's full-force attack.

"Now! It's my turn to return the favor!!"

The muscle-bound man, wild with bloodlust, was even more enraged from the pain, losing control of his rationality. Whether this was part of his mission or not didn't matter to him anymore—he just wanted to vent his frustration.

"Die!!"

Like a tank, the muscle man charged straight at Midoriya Izuku, who remained focused, scanning for any opening in the enemy's movements. Without any equipment or tools, close combat was far too risky.

Just as the muscle man was about to reach him, Midoriya Izuku prepared to dodge, but suddenly a swirling black mist appeared in front of him.

The muscle man stopped dead in his tracks, surprised, but his momentum was too strong, and he couldn't stop in time. He crashed straight into the mist, vanishing from sight. The sudden turn of events left Midoriya Izuku stunned.

"What is this!?"

The black mist in front of him wasn't unfamiliar. It was the Quirk "Kurogiri," the teleportation ability used by the League of Villains during their invasion of U.A. High. Midoriya Izuku immediately grew even more cautious.

"This stupid, muscle-brained idiot almost ruined things. Let's take him back for 'the teacher' to deal with."

The black mist gathered into the shape of a person—it was Kurogiri from the League of Villains. Midoriya Izuku kept his guard up, knowing the newcomer meant trouble.

"You must be 'Steel Wire Death God' Akaya Kaiun, right? No... Your name should be Midoriya Izuku, I apologize!"

Kurogiri bowed slightly, looking at Midoriya Izuku, who was in full battle stance, and spoke his purpose.

"'The teacher' would like to invite you to visit the League of Villains. Would you be willing to come with me, Midoriya-kun?"

"Do you really think I would go with you?"

Midoriya Izuku glared at Kurogiri like he was crazy. This was obviously an attempt at kidnapping, and while he didn't know why the enemy had targeted him, he wasn't about to surrender without a fight.

"I think you will."

A third voice suddenly interrupted. Midoriya Izuku turned his attention to the person walking up the mountain path—a man who appeared to be the mastermind behind the U.A. invasion, Shigaraki Tomura... and...

"Kouta!?"

Midoriya Izuku looked frantically at the child in Shigaraki Tomura's left hand. It was Kouta, the one he had been protecting and helping to escape. But how did he end up in that guy's hands?

Kouta, desperately trying to pull his hand from the sickly man's grip, froze as Shigaraki Tomura crouched down, gently patting his head with his right hand. Then, with his right hand, Tomura picked up a stone from the ground.

In an instant, the stone turned to dust and scattered. Kouta froze, his body stiff with fear, unable to move as his hands were still held by Tomura.

"On my way, I ran into this scared little kid. I was worried he might get lost, so I brought him to you," Shigaraki Tomura muttered to himself.

Midoriya Izuku gritted his teeth and shouted angrily:

"Let Kouta go! I'll go with you!"

"That's not going to happen!" Shigaraki Tomura sneered. He pressed his right hand to the hostage's face, and Kouta, terrified, began to cry. Tomura looked at Midoriya, saying slowly:

"Heroes are always so cunning. Now, you'd better listen to me!"

"I understand..."

Midoriya Izuku's fists clenched tightly as he lowered his head. He couldn't save Kouta right now, but... he would never give up.

"Kurogiri, open the portal. It's time to leave," Shigaraki Tomura ordered.

Following the command, Kurogiri turned into a swirling black vortex. Shigaraki Tomura, holding Kouta, slowly walked into it and disappeared...

"Kouta..."

Midoriya Izuku's fist tightened even more. Even though he knew the enemy's target was him, he couldn't just stand by and do nothing. He had to save that kid!

Midoriya Izuku, walking toward the portal created by Kurogiri, felt as if he were stepping into a bottomless, dark abyss.

---

The forest camp had ended, and the few troublemaking enemies had been subdued by the heroes and students. Shinso Hitoshi played a key role in this; he controlled the enemies on sight and learned the mission of the "League of Villains."

Most of the students weren't injured, and those poisoned in the forest were sent to the hospital, with no serious issues. But...

Two people were missing... Midoriya Izuku and Kouta. The students from Class A and Mandalay's nephew had disappeared without a trace.

---

In the hospital, the students from Class A sat in silence. During the sudden enemy attack, some of them had been poisoned, and they were now here to visit the hospitalized classmates.

"Midoriya-kun, why did the enemies take him?"

Takeyama Urei, lying in a hospital bed, had been poisoned by the mist with Ochako when they entered the forest. Her first reaction was to use her quirk to grow big and carry Ochako to safety, but she inhaled the poison and fainted.

"Midoriya... He should be alright, right?"

Ochako, deeply worried, prayed for Midoriya Izuku's safety and hoped the heroes would rescue him soon.

"Midoriya... Will the enemies take him?"

Todoroki Shoto wondered. Midoriya Izuku was excellent in every way. If he tried to escape, the enemies wouldn't be able to catch him, right?

"Baka, that idiot... He hasn't changed one bit..."

Bakugo Katsuki, usually hot-tempered, was unusually calm and silent. With Kouta also missing, and knowing Midoriya so well, Bakugo could guess what had happened.

"Midoriya-kun... Did he do this to protect Kouta?"

Takeyama Urei fell silent when she heard Bakugo's words. She had a pretty good idea of what was happening. The enemies probably took Kouta as a hostage, forcing Midoriya Izuku to go with them.

"He... He will definitely make it..."

Thinking back to her childhood, Takeyama Urei remembered how weak and fragile Midoriya Izuku was, yet he would always stand in front of her to protect her, even if it meant taking a beating. It was because of this that she came to like him. With a determined look in her eyes, Takeyama Urei said:

"Midoriya will definitely keep Kouta safe."
