Before Yu Qingyu was fully able to start talking himself down for the messages he wrote that the squirrel ended up taking, he was interrupted by his own stomach, which was growling loudly. All he had eaten in the past two days was a plain pancake he was given during a break in their journey through the mountains the previous day, so naturally, he was very hungry.
