Pushing daisies

A man finds out they can’t die. Instead of being inspired or anything, he doesn’t care.
What he doesn’t know is that he was one of the selected few of a project focused on making a group heroes.
There was definitely an error with the selection process, because being a hero is the last thing on his mind. Especially when the other heroes are all excited about their powers and drag him along because he’s quote “one of them”
