"Who is it?"
The mysterious look on Zhixin's face sparked Huo Mian's curiosity.
"Sis, I saw Dad across from the Civil Administration Bureau today…" Zhixin sounded excited when he recalled the scene.
"Dad?"
Huo Mian thought something was wrong with her ears so she asked Zhixin to repeat himself.
"Yeah, Dad. It's Dad… He looked just like himself in the past. He was wearing that black leather jacket and light grey pants," Zhixin elaborated with stark enthusiasm as he grabbed onto Huo Mian's hands.
"That's impossible, Zhixin. What are you talking about? Uncle Jing died many years ago," Huo Mian said in a trembling voice.
All these years, she felt the guiltiest about Jing De's death since she used to think it was her fault.
That was why she broke up with Qin Chu, despite it hurting her so much. They had almost lost each other because of this.
Whenever someone brought this up, Huo Mian would be rattled.
